Overview
The Smart Rewards system is designed for shopping centers and multi-vendor retail outlets as a loyalty reward program. A fully automated system, the Smart Rewards system seamlessly combines multiple vendors, an e-purse system and optional parking component delivering a reward based loyalty and payment consumer program.
Utilizing SmartCard technology, Smart Rewards promotes both customer and business loyalty with incentives for repeat shopping while eliminating unnecessary paperwork and manpower in its delivery.

The Smart Rewards system is an integrated multi-vendor reward based system which allows for an automated integration of independent vendors into one incentive based loyalty reward program. Smart Rewards effectively streamlines the process of multiple vendor use, providing an internally linked system which affords users an effortless user-friendly program.
The Smart Rewards system is implemented through a customer loyalty card which is issued on established criteria. The loyalty card features include loyalty point accumulation, electronic payment (e-purse) capabilities, and parking payment and access. The system can support cards with a varied combination of multiple utilities (i.e. loyalty points + e-purse, loyalty points + e-purse + parking access, etc). The cross vendor system allows customers to accumulate and redeem points at any of the multiple vendors. The Smart Card technology allows the customer cards to accumulate loyalty points, facilitate inter-card transfers, turn loyalty points into money, load money onto the card, and access parking and parking payment systems.
A Smart System is installed at an operations desk within the multi-vendor centre facilitating the utilities for all vendors both monitoring and controlling the system. The operations desk includes a enrolment module where customer data is entered upon enrollment into the loyalty program, a personalization and issuance module which processes eligibility and issues loyalty cards, a points redemption module which facilitates redemption or transfer of loyalty points, an e-purse module which enables money to be loaded onto the loyalty cards, a merchant transaction data module, and an MIS module which facilitates report generating.
The Merchant Pack software minimizes steps at the point of sale to keep utilities efficient and streamlined. Available in either a PC or terminal version, the award module calculates and logs the value of the loyalty points transaction and the redemption module facilitates the redemption of loyalty points on acceptance of a customer PIN and immediately updates the loyalty card.
The Smart Rewards system can be operated at merchant locations through either a PC or hand-held system. The Smart software can be integrated into existing system facilitating a seamless integration.
