Successful Solutions

The Smart Scale system is an integrated agricultural and industrial weighing and payment operating system that automates the complete weighing and payment process, providing suppliers/transporters, factories, and mills with a totally automated system utilizing RFID technology. The Smart Scale system effectively streamlines the operations of suppliers, transporters, factories and mills throughout the weighment process, reducing manpower and paperwork and increasing efficiency, limiting errors and reducing costs.

Utilizing reusable radio tokens, which are issued to the supplier/transporter upon delivery of a supply ticket to a clerk, the supplier/transporter is able to carry out both the Gross and Tare weighing processes in a self-serve manner with the aid of a voice-guided system. Bypassing previous costly manned systems, the supplier/transporter can verify the Gross and Tare weights at a SmartCard enabled Self Help Station and proceed to the end of the weighing process where a receipt is issued on submission of the radio token. The radio token technology can be integrated into existing hardware and software, facilitating system integration with existing infrastructure including database and application software already in operation.

Currently operating successfully in sugar mills, the Smart Scale system has resulted in increased productivity of 25-30%, reduced or eliminated paper work and manpower with Smart Card transactions and has been integrated into existing infrastructures to streamline operations.
